“Why not just use a cell phone instead of the SkyAngel911FD™?”

Some basic problems calling 911 from a cell phone include:

1. Cell phones are not always readily available. They may be in a purse or not easily reachable. SkyAngel911FD is a small wearable device ensuring easy access when needed.

2. Cell phones may be outside your particular carrier’s service area and not able to call 911. SkyAngel911FD will use all available carriers to ensure your call reaches 911.

3. To call 911 on a cell phone requires opening the phone or swiping the phone to activate the dialing sequence. This is a multi-step process that takes valuable time. Contacting 911 on the SkyAngel911FD is as simple as pressing 1 button.

5. All cell phones DO NOT send GPS coordinates. Your phone may have a GPS feature on it, but that information may not be sent to 911. SkyAngel911FD has GPS capability.

“Can I try it and cancel if I am not satisfied?”

Yes, there is a 30 day return policy. All shipping costs, both ways, are the responsibility of the customer including our original shipping/handling costs to ship the SkyAngel911FD to you, the shipping/handling costs will not be refunded upon return.

“Can I use the SkyAngel91FD1 if I have a pacemaker?“

“How does it work?”

SkyAngel911FD™ is simple to use. Press the emergency button and it automatically places a call to the 911 call center closest to your location.

“How do I set it up?”

Easy! The SkyAngel911FD™ device doesn’t require any setup on your part. We perform quality checks and take great care in preparing it for use. The only thing you need to do with the device is make sure it’s charged and turned on.

“Can I wear it in the shower?”

Yes, the SkyAngel911FD model can be worn in the shower, it is totally waterproof for up to 10 minutes totally submerged under water.

“Can I use it in Canada?”

Yes, the SkyAngel911FD™ will work in the U.S. and Canada.

“How Accurate is GPS?”

The precision that 911 will be able to locate the unit can range from several feet to hundreds of feet. This unit has full two-way voice communication and that should be the primary method to direct assistance to the user.

“Is there a warranty?“

Yes, there is a 1 year full warranty on all of the equipment. If there are any problems in the first year we will replace the part or the entire system.
